About

Music Placements is a small, independent website that explains how songs and beats get placed, and gives you free tools to work out the money and the paperwork.

What we do

We build calculators, checkers and plain-language guides for independent artists, songwriters and producers in the US. Where we quote a rate, a fee or a policy, we link to where it came from and show the date we checked it.

What we never do

• We never sell placements, and we never take submissions or payment to pitch your music.
• We never promise streams, syncs or income.
• We don’t host music, previews, lyrics or artwork.
• We don’t rate or review other companies. We list facts from their own pages.

About this domain

This is a new site. It is not connected to the previous owner of this domain, to any earlier website that used it, or to any service that was offered there. None of that content was kept.
