You upload a track and submit it to use for placement.  If we land a placement with that track, we get 25% of the publishing, mechanicals or flat licensing fees.  You get the other 75% of your share.  You own your copyright 100%.  You keep all the advance money for your Masters.

If you upload a track and license it through the site (your profile or the Beat Bank), we only charge a 10% transaction fee.  We receive NO publishing, mechanical, or any other royalty from those tracks.  Those are split between the producer and the party licensing the track.

  • The producer ALWAYS owns his copyright unless he sells his interest to a third party.
  • The Producer is to be credited on any releases of the track.
  • The Producer and the Artist retain a 50% / 50% share of their publishing if there is a commercial release.
  • If the Artist use the track in a non-commercial fashion (such as demos, promotional, etc), no royalties are owed to either party.
